Various Groups of invertebrate animals (no insects)
The type collections of various invertebrate groups include a mixture of species from all over the world, dating mostly from the start of the 20th century. They stem mostly from expeditions and field trips undertaken by the Natural History Museum Basel.
The collection is made up of various individual specimens and smaller type series. The taxa were taken literally from the catalogue. There has been no check of validity or synonymisation. We are happy to accept advice.
